Over the years, Huni Kuin Boa Vista has grown into a thriving Hub of Cultural Activities.
Our local residents who saw a need for a place where our people and others could come together and experience traditions and customs.
- Education (Huni Kuin Traditional Teachings and Healing Arts);
- Green Initiatives (Planting trees, Preserving heritage sites, and Reducing/ Recycling);
- Environmental Health Campaigns (Clean-ups and Disaster Relief);
- Public Health Care & Nutrition (Children, Teenagers, Adults and Elders);
- Care Homes (Children and Elders);
- Women Empowerment (Work-shop);
- Community Outreach (Disabled and Victims of poverty and/ or diseases).
So much more need to be done:
1 Hygiene Kits and First Aid;
2 School for our Children / Adolescents;
3 Yurt / Warehouse for our Food;
4 Permaculture Garden;
5 Fish Pond;
6 Chicken Coop;
7 Restrooms - Showers;
8 Clothes - All sorts (women/ men/ teenagers/ children);
9 Solar Panels;
10 Technology / Computers Education;
11 Yurt / Warehouse Arts & Crafts;
12 Kitchen - Everything (pans, cups, silverware, etc);
13 Hygiene - All sorts of supplies (women's items);
14 Sewing machines - Clothes production;
15 Motor boats - Transports for Children and Women;
16 Construction tools - All sorts;
